-  Original research work not already published
-  Plenary lectures and/or individual papers given at conferences
-  Review articles

-  Book reviews

Submission of contributions

Authors should submit a disc together with three copies of their manuscripts and one complete set of original illus­trations to the Editor-in-Chief (or Technical Editors).

 - preparation of manuscripts

*  language: Papers will be published in English.

*  estimation of length: 
-  For original research works: less then 15 pages together with tables and figures
-  for review articles: up to 20 pages
-  for short notices: less then 5 pages
-  for letters: up to 2 pages
-  for book reviews: 1 page 

*  keywords: a maximum of six words should be indicated below the abstract

*  text composition: papers should be organized into following sections: Abstract (100 - 200 words), Introduction, Experimental, Results and discussion, Conclusions, References. The title of the paper together with names of authors and their addresses should be given at the beginning of the text (corresponding author must be underlined with full address given), while tables and figures should be given at the end of text.

*  reference list: should be given at the end of the paper and prepared as follows:
l.A.Author, B.Author, J.Min.and Metal.,33 (1997) 12.
2.C.Author, The name of the Book, Publisher, City, 1997,  p.123.
3.D.Author, in Handbook (E.Editor), Publisher, City, 1997, p.123
4.E. Author, Proc.V International Symposium of Zinc, Date, City, Country, 1997,  p.123.

Reference number should be given through the text in brackets [#].
References in not-English languages should be translated in English, and the original language has to be mentioned in brackets (in Serbian), for example.

 - preparation of manuscript

The article should be prepared by word processor  MS Word with simple fonts Times New Roman size 12 with double line spacing.
TIFF and JPG files are preferred for figures, with min resolution 300 dpi. 

All papers will be  reviewed by the appropriate member of the Editorial Board.
Authors make the revision of proofs before printing and they will receive an issue of  the Journal in which the article is printed.
Manuscripts and compuscripts of papers submitted in Journal of Mining and Metallurgy will not be sent back to the authors.
